This is the packaging design I came up with for Clarity’s high-end line of phones. It features a textured background and modern fonts for a modern, premium look, while retaining a simplistic layout that’s easy to read.

I created this letter-sized sheet to illustrate the many features of Clarity’s AltoPlus speakerphone. This was a handy tool for sales associates that went a step further than the usual sell sheets they are used to getting to sell the product. In this layout, I graphically point out each feature along with an icon to show which need the feature helps the end user with (hearing loss, low vision, limited mobility or low speech).

This was a direct mail piece I designed to promote Clarity’s captioning phone. It was a 4-sided fold-out composed with teaser (top), product information (center) and company info (bottom) panels. The address and mailing info would go on a blank back panel.

This is the most recent branding I did for Clarity. The primary logo goes on a blue field, but there is also a secondary version with a white field and the optional “Life Amplified” tag line.

In addition to the usual stationary like business cards, letterhead and email signatures, I also aided in adapting the logo for the letterset on the exterior of the building.

Break out your 3-D glasses! To promote our speakerphone with adjustable tone control, we decided that the phrase “3-D sound” would be the best way to simplify our message. So when it came time to create marketing materials to send to our distributors, I came up with this idea for a 3-D poster. My inspiration for the design came from 1950’s era monster movies. Each poster was shipped to our distributors with a pair of 3-D glasses.

These are rotating banners I created for the front page of the Clarity website. The messaging behind Clarity’s phones are always consistent: Loud, Simple, and Clear. These particular banners were made during a time when our advertising style was focused around showing lifestyle images in black-and-white, but keeping product images full color.

When Clarity was developing an extra-loud Bluetooth headset, I was asked to lay out the GUI for the smartphone app that would control the settings for the headset. Since our customer is typically older and more prone to suffer from vision loss, I tried to make the interface as large and easy-to-read as possible.

The TEDPA reception was Clarity’s biggest trade show event. Every year there would be a different theme. In 2012, it was “Party Like A Rock Star.” I had a lot of fun with this one, laying out banners, invitations, scratch-off cards, backstage passes, t-shirts, maps and more.

This is a direct mail piece I put together to market our Fortissimo hands-free speakerphone to disabled military veterans. This folding booklet was sent out to VA hospitals and other care facilities.

This is a very simple informational diagram I put together that explains in basic terms how our ClarityLife senior monitoring service worked on our Ensemble tablet. The ClarityLife logo was also my creation.

Every product we sold at Clarity had to have one of these informational sell sheets so that the sales team and distributors would have all of the details about the product. This is one of many that I created and maintained during my ten years at Clarity.

I designed these wall displays to help decorate the Clarity workspace. For the conference room display, I made four panels representing our four different offices around the world. Each panel had a clock mounted to it in the upper right corner that would correspond with the time at that location.

The hallway display was just a collage of product photos and lifestyle images. Each image is printed on canvas and stretched over a one-inch aluminum frame.

Here is an ad I did for our Ensemble captioning phone. Many of our hard-of-hearing customers have a much easier time communicating over the phone if they can see the words being said. For them, the Ensemble phone broke the “sound barrier”. So that was the idea behind this piece.

Here is an ad I did for Walker, which was a part of Clarity that made secure telephone handsets. I didn’t get to do a whole lot of Walker stuff while I worked at Clarity, but this is probably my favorite piece that I did for them. Walker handsets can be found on U.S. naval ships, the New York stock exchange, and in the White House, amongst many other places where you might need a secure line.
